Adam W. Toraya, Esq.

With nearly 30 years of legal experience, Adam W. Toraya serves as Of Counsel to The Micklin Law Group, contributing his deep knowledge of appellate practice and sharp legal analysis to support the firm’s complex family law and litigation matters. Licensed in both New Jersey and New York since 1995, Adam has spent the majority of his career focused on criminal defense, appeals, and post-conviction relief.

Adam’s background includes extensive work in the appellate courts, where he has drafted hundreds of legal briefs and successfully argued before the New Jersey Appellate Division and Supreme Court. Known for his precision, thorough research, and compelling written advocacy, Adam thrives on the intellectual challenge of legal writing and the high-stakes nature of appellate litigation.

Throughout his career, Adam has been recognized for his ability to break down complex legal issues and develop strong, strategic arguments – skills that make him a valuable asset in high-level motion practice and appeals. At The Micklin Law Group, Adam collaborates closely with the team to craft persuasive briefs, respond to dispositive motions, and analyze key legal issues that can impact the outcome of a case.

Adam earned his Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law and holds an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University School of Law. When he’s not practicing law, Adam enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active through a variety of recreational pursuits, including scuba diving, spearfishing, and hiking.
