Brad knows higher education enriches our communities by providing exceptional opportunities to driven, passionate individuals who want to make a difference. Sadly, we know not every student or family can afford to pay for college. We want to do our part to make college more affordable, especially for the children of single parents and those who have overcome great challenges. Brad Micklin is pleased to offer two national scholarships: a need-based award for one college student each semester, and another yearly scholarship for single dads who need help putting their kid through college.
Micklin Law Group Educational Scholarship
A great education isn’t attainable for everyone. Even those who have the drive to do great things with their knowledge may face financial challenges on their path to a degree. As one of four siblings who grew up with a single mother, Brad Micklin understands that sometimes families must make tough decisions when it comes to money. Brad’s education has afforded him a successful and fulfilling career that otherwise may not have been possible, so he understands the difference an education can make.
Brad wants to do his part to ensure that kids who lack the resources necessary can have some additional financial support. He is proud to offer a needs-based scholarship for young people who have the work ethic and drive to succeed at college and could benefit from financial assistance. Brad offers this scholarship twice a year, once for fall semester and once for spring semester.
The Eugene H. Austin Annual Scholarship for Fathers
Are you a full-time dad who has full custody of your children? Are you in need of some financial assistance to put your child through college? We want to make your life a little easier. Apply for The Eugene H. Austin scholarship and you may receive a $1000 award to spend on your family.
We offer this award in honor of the late Judge Eugene H. Austin, Brad Micklin’s professional mentor and friend. The judge was more than just a great person and an important mentor; he was like a father to everyone around him.
Loving fathers deserve more credit than they are often given, whether they are fathers by blood or in spirit. Judge Austin’s fatherly advice helped shape Brad’s career, and Brad is forever grateful for his guidance. In his honor, The Micklin Law Group is pleased to announce the creation of the Honorable Eugene H. Austin annual scholarship fund. This annual award is for single fathers who need help putting their kids through school.
