Dana Panavalli, Esq.

Dana Panavalli brings a compassionate, client-focused approach to her role as an Associate Attorney at The Micklin Law Group. With a diverse legal background rooted in service and advocacy, Dana is committed to guiding men and fathers through some of the most challenging moments of their lives—including divorce, custody disputes, and other family law matters.

Dana began her legal career in private practice representing tenants, cooperatives, and condominium associations in New York City. She later served as of-counsel to a group of McDonald’s owner-operators in Essex and Hudson Counties, where she provided pro bono legal support to employees on a wide range of issues, including immigration, criminal defense, housing, and family law. Before joining The Micklin Law Group, Dana worked with Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, continuing her dedication to helping individuals navigate difficult legal systems with dignity and care.

Dana’s experience also includes five years of volunteer service with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Union County, where she represented foster children in Family Court on issues involving placement, education, immigration, housing, and health. This work cemented her desire to pursue family law and reflected her lifelong commitment to supporting underserved populations.

Dana was drawn to The Micklin Law Group’s mission to advocate for men’s rights in family law, where she brings a strong sense of fairness and empathy to every case. She believes in providing steady legal guidance, clear communication, and unwavering support to clients facing emotional and legal uncertainty. Dana prides herself on being accessible, responsive, and deeply engaged with each client’s needs. She communicates frequently, prioritizes transparency, and ensures her clients are never left in the dark during the legal process. Her goal is always to be a trusted resource and steady presence in the lives of those she serves.

Dana earned her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, where she participated in the Domestic Law and Elder Law clinics and served on the New York Real Property Law Journal. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and is licensed to practice in both New Jersey and New York. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Dana enjoys spending time in nature, reading, and visiting the beach – especially in the winter. She also values quality time with her family.
