We Cover the Cost of a Pre-Divorce Evaluation with a Therapist

We put our money where our mouth is, literally. The Micklin Law Group, LLC is so concerned about assuring you and your children make it through the divorce process with the support you need. When you hire our firm, we will recommend and pay for a counselor or therapist to interview you and the children and advise you on other professionals that will help you preserve the interests and well being of your children throughout the divorce process. These resources might include, additional family therapy, or working with a parenting consultant or parenting time expeditor. There are many resources available to help you get through this stressful time, and we want to help you identify up front, what will be most helpful for you and your children. Quite simply, we are committed to preparing and protecting your children psychologically as you go through your divorce. Note: Your meeting with the therapist is private and unless you provide permission, will not be shared with The Micklin Law Group, LLC.

What If I’m already seeing a therapist?

If you are currently working with a counselor or therapist, we would discuss if that person could do the evaluation for us, again, at our cost.
